Over the last 4 years Code & Theory has partnered with the Venetian Resort team in Las Vegas on a number of different initiatives that all began with the redesign of the venetian.com experience.

Since then there have been numerous engagements, including the redesign of their booking engine experience, the website for the Venetian meeting/expo space, Sands.com (Sands Corp) and various other smaller to large brand and site initiatives. We carried the established design aesthetic and experience pillars throughout these engagements to drive brand recognition across a variety of digital touch points and maintain a cohesive design system. I’m fortunate to have been part of each design effort as the UX Lead from inception through to development and launch while helping to establish and maintain a fruitful client relationship over all 4 years.

Project Details

After the initial redesign of Venetian.com and Palazzo.com as sibling sites based on the same design system but with differentiated branding, the subsequent brand moved to a single site design uniting the two towers into a single resort experience. Over the past 4 years we have made updates to the initial design system with new features, templates and components based on data, analytics and testing in an effort to continue to optimize the overall user experience and measure back to goals of the business.

Both the Venetian Meetings and Sands re-design were approached in the same fashion and have received continuous updates since their individual launches. Throughout both I was able to lead and oversee the UX effort through design and development.
